    This course addresses the creating, editing. optimizing and formatting of photo/raster images, vector/drawing images and 3D content at an introductory level for use in web pages and social media. It also address use of raster, vector and web page software for the development of wireframing and screen designs. Software explored includes Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Dreamweaver.

    1. Explore type elements and their properties on screen.
    2. Source, import, optimize and export raster and vector files for screen use.
    3. Use Adobe Photoshop to create raster screen product including ads, social media and web page content.
    4. Use Adobe Illustrator to create and export vector screen product including logos and infographics
    5. Create static graphic design products applying the elements and principles of design.
